ReplyDeleteWhen I was in South India at this time of year I noticed there is more pre-Christmas activity in the South than in the north. Here we are having lots of church related activities.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful decorations, so colorful, especially the last photo. Hope you have a very nice holiday.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos of Christmas celebrations. I always love the decorations with cribs and other dolls signifying the Christmas theme, just like our South Indian Golus during Navarathri.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family!
Thank you Joseph for your lovely comment, it really made my day to hear from you, for it is so hard to find genuine friend these days.
ReplyDeleteVery colourful photos from Kochi! I remember when I was young in India I used to help my dad decorate the Christmas crib. I would collect fresh green moss from the garden to put inside the crib. Those were fun days. I haven't celebrated Christmas in India now for a long time, but hope to do so some time in the future. We worry about leaving our houses here in the winter and getting broken pipes.
ReplyDeleteDespite the commercialism surrounding Christmas these days, I still cherish the religious significance of the occasion.
Have a great Christmas Mr Joseph.
