ONE EVENING I WAS WALKING ON THE MARINE DRIVE WALK WAY AND THESE ARE SOME SCENES WHICH CAPTIVATED MY ATTENTION. HERE ARE THE PHOTOS FOR YOU TO ENJOY.
A LONELY FISHERMAN HARD AT WORK.
A SWIRL IN THE BACK WATER.
DANCING SHADOWS.
A NUN ESCORTING CHILDREN.
TOURISTS GETTING INTO A BOAT FOR SIGHTSEEING.
A LOVELY SUNSET.

They are the expressions of life which includes the sun sets. "Lonely", "Swirl", "Shadows", "Escort" all of them lend a lot of meaning. Beautifu!

Dear Joseph
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely images from Marine drive.Brings back nostalgic memories of the time when I lived in Mumbai in the early seventies. Marine Drive,Churchgate, VT,Flora Fountain & Colaba Causeway used to be my regular beat for "time pass". That was a Golden Era.
Warm Regards
Ram

ReplyDeleteHello Anonymous,
DeleteMany thanks for leaving a comment in my post Life in Motion. Unfortunately it is blocked for me and therefore although I can read your comment I cannot reply to it because I cannot open the blog. I hope you will understand my problem. That is why I was forced to start a new blog A Man on the Move.
I note you have no blog or any other mode of contact and therefore I am helpless to reply to you.
I am thrilled to meet you and I wish you all the best. Please do not hesitate to leave a comment in this blog and some means of communication to you.

Great photos.Big themes wrapped in small things. If you haven't read Singha's "Animal's People", I would highly recommend it - about the Bhopal disaster, but more broadly, about unadulterated truth and the need for it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. Large themes wrapped in images of small events. If you haven't read Singha's "Animal's People", I would highly recommend it. It's about the Bhopal disaster, but more important, about the need for absolute truth.
