COCHIN CARNIVAL - the end.
This is the last in the series of my posts under the heading COCHIN CARNIVAL. If you want to see my earlier posts on this, kindly visit my old blog LIFE IN MOTION and check on my posts dated 11th Jan.,15th Jan. and 29th Jan. Best wishes:)
The costumes are terrific,Joseph, and I love those reclining chairs. The carnival must have been a wonderful occasion and experience. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Hell Joseph Fantastic pictures and some taken at night with flash. The costumes are bright and multicolored. Is the first pic depicting a scene from the Ramayana ? Some of the other pics appear to depict the British rule in India - encounter between an Indian prince(holding sword) & a British soldier with a gun. The captivating & enchanting ladies in pic 4 - are they really ladies or men dressed as ladies. They look like the Apsaras at the court of Lord Indra !
Beautiful shots of the carnival. Very colorful. I can visualize them as I have seen the similar stuff in Cochin during the yearly festival celebrations there at the the temple.
hello friend, This looks fun to attend. I should like to see something like this one day. Your pictures and your travels are wonderful. I learn so much about your culture. I have always wanted to visit India, and i purchase made items from your country. Thank you for bringing a little piece my way through your blog.
