  1. very cool joseph...thanks for sharing these...the cobra outfit is tremendous...i am wondering about the one picture of the three ladies...two seem to be dancing, while the other one is contemplative...is there symbolism there or did you just catch her at that moment...

  2. Brilliant, dazzling, sound and color, movement, ethnicity and folklore all mingle together and served . Really liked this.

We are having street fairs all over town each Sunday night.

  4. Hello Joseph! Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures of your celebration. I am always in awe at the beauty and extravagance of the costumes and designs. Although the photos are beautiful, I am sure they don't even do them justice. I'm sure it was a grand celebration.

God's blessings to you and your family!

  11. Once again I am mesmerised by colour ... and the outfits worn by the ladies in the header picture are works of art. Until I studied it I thought they had their faces painted. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your celebrations.

  16. Hi Joseph,
I think India must take the prize for beautiful clothing and ornament. Such intense colors and I'm sure abounding in symbolism that is lost on me.
These pictures bring many questions to mind.
Wish I were there to enjoy it with you,
    God bless,
    Fred
