Monsoon is in full swing and it pours for days together. And yet the sun brightens our lives when the rain takes rest. Here are some photos taken at different places during this season. Click the photos for a larger view.
Sunset over the entrance of the harbour(between Fort Kochi on the left and Vypeen Island on the right).
Sunset over the Arabian sea.
Sunset over Vypeen Island.
Sunset over Bolghaty Island.
Sunsets as seen from Kochi marine drive.
those last two are my favorites...the one pic intrigues me though...so many people gathered there on the beach...what was going on? or do they regularly gather like that?
ReplyDeleteHi Joseph,
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves sunsets,it is so magical, and different places have their own beautiful sunsets. Nature is so beautiful, and I thank God for giving us so much beauty to admire.
Thank you Joseph for the lovely pictures.
Amazing pics!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePictures speak a 1000 words... Loved the second last one the most!
ReplyDeleteHi Joseph, I tried to send a comment but not sure whether it arrived so will send another,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these wonderful photo's.
I love the sunset as I reflect on the day that is now closing. I wonder whether I have done enough for my fellow human beings, or could I have done more.
I sometimes walk along the beach if I have any problems I find it very comforting at the end of the day.
Yvonne.
Marvellous photos...
ReplyDeleteWhen the sun sets I thank the good Lord that I have the privilege to see them. It is also my thinking time. The only trouble is we don't get to see them with our weather the way it is. Your pictures denote peace and tranquility... I like the solitary ship and the solitary bird... that's a great picture.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteEspecially loved the second
from last pic -it can trigger
off quite a few verses!
Spectacular photos Mr JP. Reminds me of the time I visited Kochi as a student saw the same sun set. Such a beautiful vista. Thank you for you r perspective and insightful comment on my blog. I really appreciate your comments and tell my mother about them.

ReplyDeleteJoe, I always enjoy the calm after the rain. Somehow the atmosphere is cleaned up and the surrounding seems to be more serene and pleasing. And you did capture them in your photos. Tks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteYour passion for the sunset brings peace, and a smooth light. I like you have photos from different places. I'm looking into replaceing a friend camera this winter as a gift. He loves to take pictures, it a small hobbie of his and i feel bad his has broken. You have an art through your lens, and your sharing your world. Thank you.

Hi Joseph,
ReplyDeleteI just got caught up on your recent blog posts and this is a beautiful one; but I have to say that the post about the young girl, working to make a living and enjoying the simple pleasures of laughter with a stranger and a modest meal, really struck me to the heart; and yes, I'm sure she is doing God's will.
God bless her and you my friend,
Fred
